kazamaza

this past week since i've been back in work mode interesting questions/comments have been raised:

-why does a milli-equivalent exist? if anyone knows the answer please enlighten me so i can enlighten the person who asked. wikipedia did not. chemists do not be offended just help me understand and yes this is a nerdy post to avoid studying for tedious exam tomorrow and it doesn't help that food, solutions, blood, cells, urine have milli-equivalents of every ion that counts intead of grams or moles.

-ties are like religion. constricting but apparently embellishing (both decreed by unknown but visionary power)

-skimmed milk is healthier than low fat milk as decreed by my mother who is unusually wrong most of the time :)

-muggers nowadays (or the ones around here) splurge with stolen credit cards on-line and treat themselves to boatfuls of clothes, displaying their own shipping address in the process.

-the governor of iowa is running for presidency and he's gonna kick ass

-you cannot revive a conversation on a table full of doctors and a drug rep who is asked what drug he represents and he says it's a hormone and you feel hope you can include him in the conversation and there's a pause and you ask with interest what hormone with thoughts of insulin/estrogen/testosterone and he says unblinkingly it's for cows. pause pause. pause.

-stemming from that, has the whole world turned hormonal?

-drug reps for cows?!

-and finally, Ugly Betty's the shit!
