stabbed

ever felt stabbed in the back
well i'm being vague coz i'm not gonna spill my life story on my blog but today i've been stabbed, hard.
by a close close very close friend
well i say 'el hayat wa'fet 3ezz'
why don't people take a stand anymore??
even if they know it won't change a thing, just take a stand for the cause, damn it!
all i wanted to do today was sit at home, prop my legs up and read and read
i ended up staying out, talking and talking and dancing
saying goodbyes - which i hate
and dancing for the heck of it
now i'm stuck with my thoughts of tomorrow and there's some kind of churning noise outside which may be a tornado but i'm goin' to sleep
to dream of values, loyalties and friendship, which are slipping away fast, very fast.

and i'm taking a blog break coz i need to get things done in the real world and break this addiction once and for all

  • Laila, I told you not to do what you did to Rouba, but you wouldn't listen... now see what happens? Just kidding...

Rouba, you have an army behind you ;) they're just a phone call and a baseball bat shop away...

  • Lessons are never learned the easy way, rouba. The loss of a friendship is better than the illusion of one.

  • People would take a stand for the cause.
But different people have different causes, if you know what I mean.
What is of utmost importance for you might mean nothing for other people.
and I am sure you didn't mean what you said about him.
    yalla cheer up.

  • lc thanks; this one's mine to fight though (this is really turning into a cheap melodrama now!)

fouad, i love the way you put it. it's so true.

paul, most things in life are relative, but some things are absolutely wrong whichever way you twist them. no excuses. none.
