the 'exorcism of emily rose' is one hell - no pun intended - of a disturbing movie.
i am sitting here scared and i think but it's a movie what are you afraid of i am scared by the fact that it's based on a true story and that entire medical dogmas and the entire field of psychiatry and what we define as 'normal' or 'factual' can be easily questioned and doubted and we are left to contend with matters of the mind vs the spirit and science vs faith and what to believe and whom

maybe one of those crazy patients i put on haldol was destined to fulfill some kind of prophecy and i stole his thunder
that makes me the devil
