Lebanese Activism from Farmland!!!

Farmland has its merits, and now that i am no longer there it has been weighing heavily on my heart.
Speaking of hearts, my favourite lebanese in Iowa have started the "I heart Beirut" campaign there (i'm still waiting for the "i heart Beirut" cow photos), they have t-shirts and ?stickers on order, money will be sent to the Lebanese Red Cross.
you can email lebaneseiniowa@yahoo.com for orders
they also started a blog to help people in the US donate money to send to the Lebanese Red Cross and to raise awareness about the horrors of this War.
On August 11th, they organized a rally to protest the war on lebanon, where 15 people lay on the ground covered with lebanese flags in downtown Iowa City.
there was excellent local media coverage as seen on those links

i encourage you to visit their blog and view their activism, and help them with their fund-raising!
